Army takes aim at RAW for Pakistan terror

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani military top brass has taken a strong exception to Indian spymasterResearch & Analysis Wing (RAW) covertly fueling the fire of terrorism in Pakistan, Samaa reported.

Alarm bells to this ‘RAW effect’ rang loud and clear during the course of a Crops Commanders Conference held Tuesday.
“CCC:The conference took serious notice of RAW's involvement in whipping up terrorism in Pakistan,” said a tweet posted by the DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Asim Saleem Bajwa at the end of the meeting held under the chair of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif.
According to Bajwa, the commanders, reaffirming their resolve, vowed to leave no threat, internal or external, un-neutralized.
“CCC: Will take this war 2 logical conclusion. Dignity, honor of our country, it's people, gallant armed forces (wi)ll be safeguarded at all cost,” Bajwa tweeted.
The meeting also laid down that a rise in the military or paramilitary operations against the criminal elements was not politically motivated.
“CCC: Surge vs terrorists & criminals is apolitical, across the board, focused to achieve peace in the country,” another tweet by DG ISPR said.
