National Action Plan progress: ‘18 executions carried out, four stayed in Sindh’

KARACHI: As many as 18 terrorists were executed under the National Action Plan (NAP), while black warrants issued for the execution of four other terrorists have been stayed by courts.

Sindh Rangers raided Dr Asim hospital

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Saturday raided Ziauddin Hospital and arrested Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Dr Yousuf Sattar. Detained PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain owns the hospital.

According to reports, the rangers have taken CCTV video record from the hospital and have. The paramilitary force also confiscated documents from the finance and IT departments.


Five Afghans arrested in joint operation

RAWALPINDI: Five Afghan nationals were arrested near Dhanda in the Chakbeli Khan area in a joint search operation by the armed forces, intelligence agencies and local police.

North Waziristan: 14 terrorists killed in Shawal blitz

PESHAWAR: At least 14 terrorists were killed in fresh air strikes in the thickly forested Shawal Valley of North Waziristan on Saturday. Meanwhile, a soldier was killed and four others were wounded in a bomb attack in neighbouring South Waziristan Agency.
