Armed Forces, Nation committed to defeat terrorists: DG ISPR Asim Bajwa

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that Pakistan armed forces and whole nation are committed to defeat terrorists. We are determined to deny any space to terrorists, he added.


In his recent tweets just after the blast in Kurram Agency at football match at Ali Zai, he said that both suicide bombers were checked by Levies. One terrorist who rushed to crowd was forcibly stopped and he then exploded himself. And the other who tried to ran from the scene was chased and shot dead by Levis.
Moreover, the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has lauded over the quick response of Levies and crowd’s alertness.
Yesterday, two suicide attackers were killed by Levies outside a high-school football ground in Ali Zai area of Lower Kurram Agency. According to recent updates, two suicide attackers were killed while three  people got injuries in exchange of fire between forces and terrorist. Over 100 people were present in the school ground at the time of match. Just after the attack, a state of emergency was declared at hospitals in Kurram Agency.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that terrorist can’t lower our morale in war against terrorism and for the ultimate peace of the Pakistan. Whole nation is united against terrorism.
