The Government of Pakistan had appointed Air Marshal Saeed Muhammad Khan as Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force.
Air Marshal Saeed Muhammad Khan was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of Pakistan Air Force in October 1981. During his illustrious career, he has commanded a Fighter Squadron, a Fighter Wing, an Operational Air Base and a Regional Air Command.
He had served as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Administration) at Air Headquarters, Islamabad. He had also served as Director General Media at Inter Services Intelligence Headquarters, Islamabad and Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Training) at Air Headquarters Islamabad.
He was a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School and National Defence University. He was a recipient of Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara-e-Basalat.
