Pakistan Army Keeps Up Promise To Look After National Security

RAWALPINDI – Corp Commander meeting is under way in General Head Quarter Rawalpindi with a special focus on National security, PakistanTribe reported.



Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) had confirmed meeting last week. Raheel Sharif is presiding the meeting with a focus on the “effective implementation of National Action Plan in concert with federal and provincial governments, in order to eliminate terrorism, extremism and sectarianism without any discrimination.
Participants of meeting are to undertook a comprehensive review of internal and external security situation of the country.
All security issues including the progress made in Operation Zarb-e- Azb and Operation Khyber were also discussed in the meeting.
Further it is also matter of great concern for Pakistan Army that Afghan Taliban are interested in Peace Talks with government which will surely change the regional scenario.
