'None should dare to cast an evil eye on Pak', Pak Army takes notice of India's hostility

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Taking notice of provocative statements by Indian officials, the Formation Commanders Conference headed by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif took place here on Wednesday in which it was announced Pakistan will befittingly respond to any campaign against it.


According to details, the conference reviewed Pakistan Army’s professional affairs, internal and external security situation, threats faced by the country and the success in the operation Zarb-e-Azb against the terrorists.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), serious notice was taken by the conference of statements by the Indian officials.
The participants made it clear to India that Pakistan and regional security will always be safeguarded.
Addressing the conference, Army Chief said that Indian steps are extremely unfortunate, adding that Indian politicians feel proud after violating principles outlined by the United Nations (UN).
He said that “our basic and collective purpose is to make Pakistan secure, strong and prosperous” and that the operation against the terrorists will continue until the last terrorists is taken out.
He directed that all commands must take possible steps in order to stop running away terrorists. He said that Pakistanis are the most peaceful nation in the whole world.
General Sharif said that Pakistani nation is emerging a winner under the current circumstances.
During the briefing in the conference, Army Chief was told that strongholds and hideouts of terrorists in North Waziristan and Khyber Agency have been eliminated.
He said there are some areas of North Waziristan near Pakistan-Afghanistan border that are being evacuated.
