Operation Zarb-e-Azb: Another successful operation by Pakistan Army

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Military Forces have claimed to kill 20 militants Saturday in airstrikes on a tribal region near Datta Khel, North Waziristan.


“At least 20 terrorists were killed in aerial strikes,” the military said in a statement without giving the identity of those killed or who they fought for.
Earlier, the Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Asim Bajwa, said, on Saturday, that Zarb e Azb operation has entered to its decisive phase.
Asim Bajwa said that Pakistan military has achieved many successes during the whole year, and is very near to conclude the operation.
According to ISPR, around 2,763 terrorists have been killed during the year, and 253 tons of explosive material seized by the forces.
He said that around 9,000 terrorists have been arrested by the forces, and significant interrogation from them lead to more successful search operation.
He further said that around 897 hideouts of terrorists have also been captured and taken control over them by Pakistan Army.
However, during the operation some 347 officers and soldiers received martyrdom.
Asim Bajwa further argued that forces have fought bravely, and intelligence agencies also did their work passionately.
