Balochistan forwards 58 cases to military courts

QUETTA (Staff Report) – Balochistan has forwarded as many as 58 terror related cases to military courts for speedy hearing, said provincial home department on Thursday.

The spokesperson stated that military courts have decided to take up 13 cases of those forwarded in the first phase.
He further added that all of the forwarded cases are against proscribed organisations functioning inside country and have been sent to military courts after formal approval of the provincial apex committee.
Military courts were established following a deadly gun attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School in December last year. The courts have awarded death sentences to six hardcore terrorists so far.
