Katmandu: Pakistan has sent its elite Army personals to take part in locate and rescue operation in Bhaktapur and Katmandu for the earthquake affected people in Nepal, thesenlive reported on Tuesday.
According to details, a group of Pakistan Army personals along with other staff including doctors and rescue teams on Tuesday morning departed for Nepal on two airplanes C-130 to take part in the rescue operation in Katmandu.
On their arrival in Katmandu, Pak Army and other staff started their rescue operation to save the earthquake affected people of Nepal.
A large of other necessary things including medicines, food, blankets and tents were also boarded on the plane.
A total of 59 persons including doctors, rescue workers and Army personal were taken to Katmandu to help their Nepali brothers and sisters.
It is pertinent to mention here that a 7.9 magnitude earthquake on Saturday hit the whole of Nepal collapsing dozens of buildings and killing thousands of people. The earthquake also hit some parts of Indian and Pakistan, resulting in high damage in India.
