Uri, April 20 (ANI): With snow melting at higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Army has stepped up vigil along the border with Pakistan to ward off infiltration attempts by militants. Though Shangrila post has always been prone to infiltration, change in weather and melting of snow provide militants a shield to infiltrate easily, forcing the army to tighten patrolling day and night. Kashmir is a longtime source of dispute between India and Pakistan, with both countries controlling different parts and claiming all.
