Pakistan army chief embarks on three-day Britain visit

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan army chief general Raheel Shariftoday left for a three-day visit to the UK to meet British military and political leaders and discuss regional security situation.




General Sharif is undertaking the visit after crucial talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Islamabad yesterday.
Pakistan army spokesman major general Asim Bajwa confirmed that general Sharif is paying a three day visit toBritain. "He will meet military and political leadership," he said.
