Khyber Agency would soon be cleared of insurgents: DG ISPR

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Saleem Bajwa on Friday has said that the Pakistan Army would soon clear Khyber Agency of insurgents. He said that the army has bordered militants in the border areas of North Waziristan.




He expressed these views in a media briefing in London.
The DG ISPR said that an efficient plan would be formulated for safe return of refugees. He said that the British authorities were informed about the successes of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists.
DG ISPR said that combined operation with Afghanistan is being done on the border areas. He said that discussion about military cooperation has been done with the British authorities.
Moreover, DG Bajwa said that an official announcement has been done about the areas which have been cleared of insurgents in North Waziristan.
